अग्ने॒ यद॒द्य वि॒शो अ॑ध्वरस्य होतः॒ पाव॑कशोचे॒ वेष्ट्वं हि यज्वा॑ । ऋ॒ता य॑जासि महि॒ना वि यद्भूर्ह॒व्या व॑ह यविष्ठ॒ या ते॑ अ॒द्य ॥ (१४)

हे यज्ञ संपन्न करने वाले एवं पवित्रप्रकाश वाले अग्नि! इस समय तुम यजमान के कर्त्तव्य की कामना करो. लुम देवों के यज्ञकर्ता हो, इसलिए देवयजन करो. हे अतिशय युवा अग्नि! तुम अपने महत्त्व से सर्वव्यापक हुए हो. आज तुम्हें जो भी हव्य दिया जावे, उसे वहन करो. (१४)

O agni that performs yajna and is a agni of holy light! At this time you wish for the duty of the host. Lum is the yajnakara of the gods, so do the devas. O very young agni! You have become omnipresent by your importance. Whatever you are given today, bear it. (14)
