अग्ने॒ विश्वे॑भिः स्वनीक दे॒वैरूर्णा॑वन्तं प्रथ॒मः सी॑द॒ योनि॑म् । कु॒ला॒यिनं॑ घृ॒तव॑न्तं सवि॒त्रे य॒ज्ञं न॑य॒ यज॑मानाय सा॒धु ॥ (१६)

हे शोभन ज्वालाओं वाले एवं देवप्रमुख अग्नि! कंबलों से युक्त घोंसले के समान एवं घृतसंपन्न वेदी पर सभी देवों के साथ बैठी तथा यज्ञकर्ता यजमान के कल्याण के निमित्त उसका यज्ञ देवों के समीप ले जाओ. (१६)

O agni with beautiful flames and godly agni! Sit with all the gods on the nest-like and disgusting altar with blankets, and take the yajna to the devas for the welfare of the sacrificial host. (16)
