इ॒ममु॒ त्यम॑थर्व॒वद॒ग्निं म॑न्थन्ति वे॒धसः॑ । यम॑ङ्कू॒यन्त॒मान॑य॒न्नमू॑रं श्या॒व्या॑भ्यः ॥ (१७)

ऋत्विज्‌ अथर्वा ऋषि के समान इस अग्नि का मंथन करते हैं एवं देवों के मध्य से निकलकर इधर-उधर भागते हुए बुद्धिसंपन्न अग्नि को अंधकार के मध्य से लाते हैं. (१७)

Ritwiz atharva churns out this agni like the sage and comes out of the midst of the gods and runs around and brings the intelligent agni from the midst of darkness. (17)
