वि॒भूष॑न्नग्न उ॒भया॒ँ अनु॑ व्र॒ता दू॒तो दे॒वानां॒ रज॑सी॒ समी॑यसे । यत्ते॑ धी॒तिं सु॑म॒तिमा॑वृणी॒महेऽध॑ स्मा नस्त्रि॒वरू॑थः शि॒वो भ॑व ॥ (९)

हे अग्नि! तुम देवों और मानवों को अलंकृत करते हुए एवं यज्ञकमों में देवों के दूत बनते हुए धरती-आकाश में विचरण करते हो. हम यज्ञकर्मो एवं शोभन स्तुतियों से तुम्हारी सेवा करते हैं, इसलिए तुम तीनों लोकों में रहकर हमें सुख दो. (९)

O agni! You wander through the earth and the heavens, adorning the gods and human beings and becoming the messengers of the gods in the yagnakamas. We serve you with yajnakarmas and adornment hymns, so may you be in the three realms and give us happiness. (9)
