य उ॒ग्र इ॑व शर्य॒हा ति॒ग्मश‍ृ॑ङ्गो॒ न वंस॑गः । अग्ने॒ पुरो॑ रु॒रोजि॑थ ॥ (३९)

अग्नि शक्तिशाली धनुर्धारी के समान बाणों से शत्रुओं को मारने वाले एवं तेज सींगों वाले बैल के समान हैं. हे अग्नि! तुमने राक्षसों के नगरों को नष्ट किया है. (३९)
