यस्ते॒ मदः॑ पृतना॒षाळमृ॑ध्र॒ इन्द्र॒ तं न॒ आ भ॑र शूशु॒वांस॑म् । येन॑ तो॒कस्य॒ तन॑यस्य सा॒तौ मं॑सी॒महि॑ जिगी॒वांस॒स्त्वोताः॑ ॥ (७)

हे इंद्र! तुम्हारा जो उत्साह शत्रु-सेनाओं को नष्ट करने वाला एवं अपराजित है, उस बढ़े हुए उत्साह को हमें दो. हम तुम्हारे द्वारा रक्षित होकर उसी उत्साह के कारण पुत्र एवं पौत्र के लाभ के लिए तुम्हारी स्तुति करेंगे. (७)

O Indra! Give us the increased enthusiasm that your zeal that destroys and undefeated enemy armies. We will be protected by you and will praise you for the benefit of the Son and grandson because of the same zeal. (7)
