स इदस्ते॑व॒ प्रति॑ धादसि॒ष्यञ्छिशी॑त॒ तेजोऽय॑सो॒ न धारा॑म् । चि॒त्रध्र॑जतिरर॒तिर्यो अ॒क्तोर्वेर्न द्रु॒षद्वा॑ रघु॒पत्म॑जंहाः ॥ (५)

अग्नि बाण फेंकने वाले के समान अपनी ज्वालाएं आगे बढ़ाते हैं एवं फरसे की धार के समान तेज करते हैं. वे विचित्र गति एवं पैर सिकोड़कर रात में वृक्ष पर निवास करने वाले पक्षी के समान रात बिताते हैं. (५)
