द्यावो॒ न यस्य॑ प॒नय॒न्त्यभ्वं॒ भासां॑सि वस्ते॒ सूर्यो॒ न शु॒क्रः । वि य इ॒नोत्य॒जरः॑ पाव॒कोऽश्न॑स्य चिच्छिश्नथत्पू॒र्व्याणि॑ ॥ (३)

स्तोता जिस अग्नि के महान्‌ कर्म की स्तुति करते हैं, वे अग्नि सूर्य के समान उज्ज्वल हैं एवं अपने तेज में छिपे रहते हैं. युवा एवं पवित्रकर्तता अग्नि अपने प्रकाश से सबको ढकते हैं एवं राक्षसों तथा उनके नगरों को समाप्त करते हैं. (३)

English

The agni of which the Psalms praise the great deeds of the agni are as bright as the sun and hide in their brightness. The young and holy-duty agnis cover everyone with its light and destroy the demons and their cities. (3)
