अध॑ जि॒ह्वा पा॑पतीति॒ प्र वृष्णो॑ गोषु॒युधो॒ नाशनिः॑ सृजा॒ना । शूर॑स्येव॒ प्रसि॑तिः क्षा॒तिर॒ग्नेर्दु॒र्वर्तु॑र्भी॒मो द॑यते॒ वना॑नि ॥ (५)

जैसे चुराई गई गायों के लिए लड़ने वाले इंद्र का वज्र बार-बार चलता था, उसी प्रकार कामवर्षी अग्नि की ज्वालाएं निकलती हैं. वीरों की दृढ़ता के समान असह्य अग्नि की भयानक ज्वालाएं वनों को जलाती हैं. (५)
