ता वि॒ग्रं धै॑थे ज॒ठरं॑ पृ॒णध्या॒ आ यत्सद्म॒ सभृ॑तयः पृ॒णन्ति॑ । न मृ॑ष्यन्ते युव॒तयोऽवा॑ता॒ वि यत्पयो॑ विश्वजिन्वा॒ भर॑न्ते ॥ (७)

हे मित्र एवं वरुण! तुम अपना पेट सोमरस से भरने के लिए यजमान की रक्षा करते हो. हे विश्वजिन्वा! जब ऋत्विज्‌ यज्ञशाला को भर देते हैं एवं तुम जल बरसाते हो. उस समय युवतियां-सरिताएं धूल से पराजित नहीं होतीं, अपितु सूखी, नदियां भी जल से भर जाती हैं. (७)
