वृषा॑ जजान॒ वृष॑णं॒ रणा॑य॒ तमु॑ चि॒न्नारी॒ नर्यं॑ ससूव । प्र यः से॑ना॒नीरध॒ नृभ्यो॒ अस्ती॒नः सत्वा॑ ग॒वेष॑णः॒ स धृ॒ष्णुः ॥ (५)

पिता कश्यप ने अभिलाषापूरक इंद्र को युद्ध के निमित्त उत्पन्न किया है. नारी ने भी मानवहितेषी इंद्र को जन्म दिया है. इंद्र मानवों के सेनापति, स्वामी सारे संसार के ईश्वर, शत्रुहंता, गायों की खोज करने वाले एवं शत्रुओं को हराने वाले हैं. (५)

Father Kashyapa has created the desire-filled Indra for the sake of war. The woman has also given birth to the human-hearted Indra. Indra is the commander of the human beings, the lord is the God of the whole world, the enemy, the seeker of cows and the one who defeats the enemies. (5)
