ओ श्रु॒ष्टिर्वि॑द॒थ्या॒३॒॑ समे॑तु॒ प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ दधीमहि तु॒राणा॑म् । यद॒द्य दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता सु॒वाति॒ स्यामा॑स्य र॒त्निनो॑ विभा॒गे ॥ (१)

हे देवो! तुम्हारे मन द्वारा संपादित होने वाला सुख हमें प्राप्त हो. हम तेज चलने वाले देवों के लिए स्तोत्र बनाते हैं. रत्नों के स्वामी सविता आज जो धन हमारे पास भेजेंगे, हम उसी धन के भागी होंगे. (१)
