प्र स॒म्राजो॒ असु॑रस्य॒ प्रश॑स्तिं पुं॒सः कृ॑ष्टी॒नाम॑नु॒माद्य॑स्य । इन्द्र॑स्येव॒ प्र त॒वस॑स्कृ॒तानि॒ वन्दे॑ दा॒रुं वन्द॑मानो विवक्मि ॥ (१)

मैं शत्रुनगरियों को नष्ट करने वाले की वंदना करता हूं. मैं वंदना करता हुआ सारे लोक के स्वामी, बलवान्‌, वीर एवं प्रजाओं के स्तुतियोग्य और बलवान्‌ इंद्र के समान वैश्वानर अग्नि के कर्मो एवं स्तुतियों को कहता हूं. (१)

I worship those who destroy the enemy cities. I worship the lords of all the people, the balwans, the heroes and the praises of the people and the praises of the people, and like the strong Indra, the deeds and praises of the Vaishnavar Agni. (1)
