यो अ॑पा॒चीने॒ तम॑सि॒ मद॑न्तीः॒ प्राची॑श्च॒कार॒ नृत॑मः॒ शची॑भिः । तमीशा॑नं॒ वस्वो॑ अ॒ग्निं गृ॑णी॒षेऽना॑नतं द॒मय॑न्तं पृत॒न्यून् ॥ (४)

जिन अतिशय नेता अनिने ने प्रकाशरहित अंधकार में पड़ी प्रजाओं को प्रसन्न करके अपनी बुद्धि से सरलपथगामिनी बनाया, मैं उन्हीं धनस्वामी तथा नम्रतारहित एवं युद्धाभिलाषियों का दमन करने वाले अग्नि की स्तुति करता हूं. (४)
