उद्वे॑ति प्रसवी॒ता जना॑नां म॒हान्के॒तुर॑र्ण॒वः सूर्य॑स्य । स॒मा॒नं च॒क्रं प॑र्या॒विवृ॑त्स॒न्यदे॑त॒शो वह॑ति धू॒र्षु यु॒क्तः ॥ (२)

मनुष्यों को अपने-अपने काम में लगाने वाले, पूज्य, ज्ञापन एवं जल देने वाले सूर्य सबके पहियों को समान रूप से चलाने की इच्छा से उदित होते हैं. रथ में जुड़े हुए हरे रंग के घोड़े सूर्य को खींचते हैं. (२)
