अता॑रिष्म॒ तम॑सस्पा॒रम॒स्य प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ देव॒यन्तो॒ दधा॑नाः । पु॒रु॒दंसा॑ पुरु॒तमा॑ पुरा॒जाम॑र्त्या हवते अ॒श्विना॒ गीः ॥ (१)

हम देवों की अभिलाषा से स्तुतियां बोलते हुए अंधकार के पार जावें. हे अनेक कर्मो वाले, परम विशाल, पहले उत्पन्न हुए एवं मरणरहित अश्चिनीकुमारो! स्तोता तुम्हें बुलाता है. (१)
