य ऋ॒ते चि॑दभि॒श्रिषः॑ पु॒रा ज॒त्रुभ्य॑ आ॒तृदः॑ । संधा॑ता सं॒धिं म॒घवा॑ पुरू॒वसु॒रिष्क॑र्ता॒ विह्रु॑तं॒ पुनः॑ ॥ (१२)

इंद्र शीश कटने पर रक्त निकलने के पहले ही जोड़ने वाले द्रव्य के अभाव में भी शीश और धड़ को जोड़ देते हैं. धनवान्‌ एवं अनेक धनों के स्वामी इंद्र अलग-अलग भागों को सुधार देते हैं. (१२)
