स प्र॑थ॒मे व्यो॑मनि दे॒वानां॒ सद॑ने वृ॒धः । सु॒पा॒रः सु॒श्रव॑स्तमः॒ सम॑प्सु॒जित् ॥ (२)

वे इंद्र विस्तृत व्योमरूप देवस्थान में देवों को बढ़ाते हैं. इंद्र यज्ञकर्म पूरा करने वाले, शोभन यश वाले एवं जल पीने के लिए वृत्र के विजेता हैं. (२)
