पृदा॑कुसानुर्यज॒तो ग॒वेष॑ण॒ एकः॒ सन्न॒भि भूय॑सः । भूर्णि॒मश्वं॑ नयत्तु॒जा पु॒रो गृ॒भेन्द्रं॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑ ॥ (१५)

सांप के समान ऊंचे सिर वाले, यज्ञ के पात्र एवं गायों को देने वाले इंद्र अकेले होने पर भी बहुत से शत्रुओं को पराजित करते हैं. स्तोता भरण करने वाले एवं व्यापक इंद्र को सोमरस पीने के लिए हमारे सामने लाते हैं. (१५)

English

Indra, who has a snake-like high head, the vessel of yajna and the giver to the cows, defeats many enemies even when he is alone. The psalms bring the filler and the sweeping Indra before us to drink the somras. (15)
