विभू॑तरातिं विप्र चि॒त्रशो॑चिषम॒ग्निमी॑ळिष्व य॒न्तुर॑म् । अ॒स्य मेध॑स्य सो॒म्यस्य॑ सोभरे॒ प्रेम॑ध्व॒राय॒ पूर्व्य॑म् ॥ (२)

हे मेधावी सौभरि! अधिक देने वाले, विचित्र-दीप्तिसंपन्न इस सोमसाध्य यज्ञ के नियंता एवं पुरातन अग्नि की स्तुति यज्ञपूर्ति के लिए करो. (२)
