सनि॑ता॒ विप्रो॒ अर्व॑द्भि॒र्हन्ता॑ वृ॒त्रं नृभिः॒ शूरः॑ । स॒त्यो॑ऽवि॒ता वि॒धन्त॑म् ॥ (३६)

बुद्धिमान्‌ इंद्र घोड़ों की सहायता से इच्छित स्थान पर जाते हैं. शूर इंद्र नेता मरुतों की सहायता से वृत्र को मारते हैं. वे अपने यजमान के सच्चे रक्षक हैं. (३६)
