गा॒थश्र॑वसं॒ सत्प॑तिं॒ श्रव॑स्कामं पुरु॒त्मान॑म् । कण्वा॑सो गा॒त वा॒जिन॑म् ॥ (३८)

हे कण्वगोत्रीय ऋषियो! तुम गाने योग्य यश वाले, सज्जनों के पालक, अन्न के इच्छुक, अनेक प्रदेशों में जाने वाले एवं गतिशील इंद्र की स्तुति करो. (३८)

O kanvagotrian sages! Praise Indra, who is the leader of the songs, the guardian of the gentlemen, the seeker of food, who has gone to many lands and is dynamic. (38)
