इ॒त्था धीव॑न्तमद्रिवः का॒ण्वं मेध्या॑तिथिम् । मे॒षो भू॒तो॒३॒॑ऽभि यन्नयः॑ ॥ (४०)

हे वज्रधारी इंद्र! तुमने बादल के रूप में गति करते हुए सामने जाकर कण्व के पुत्र मेधातिथि ऋषि को प्राप्त किया था. (४०)
