वि द्वी॒पानि॒ पाप॑त॒न्तिष्ठ॑द्दु॒च्छुनो॒भे यु॑जन्त॒ रोद॑सी । प्र धन्वा॑न्यैरत शुभ्रखादयो॒ यदेज॑थ स्वभानवः ॥ (४)

हे शोभन आयुधों वाले एवं विशिष्ट दीप्ति वाले मरुतो! तुम्हारे आने से जो कंपन होता है, उससे सारे द्वीप गिर पड़ते हैं, वृक्षादि स्थावर दु:खी होते हैं, द्यावा-पृथिवी दोनों कांप उठते हैं एवं गमनशील जल बहने लगता है. (४)
