अनु॑ प्र॒त्नस्यौक॑सः प्रि॒यमे॑धास एषाम् । पूर्वा॒मनु॒ प्रय॑तिं वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषो हि॒तप्र॑यस आशत ॥ (१८)

प्रियमेध ऋषि के परिवार वाले लोगों ने देवों के पुराने स्थान अर्थात्‌ स्वर्ग को प्राप्त किया है, मुख्य दान के लक्ष्य से कुशों का विस्तार किया है तथा सोमरस आदि प्राप्त किया है. (१८)
