यं ते॑ श्ये॒नः प॒दाभ॑रत्ति॒रो रजां॒स्यस्पृ॑तम् । पिबेद॑स्य॒ त्वमी॑शिषे ॥ (९)

हे इंद्र! बाज पक्षी का रूप धारण करने वाली गायत्री अंतरिक्ष के रक्षकों का तिरस्कार करके शत्रुओं द्वारा न छुए गए जिस सोमरस को पैरों द्वारा लाई थी, उसे तुम पिओ, क्योंकि तुम उसके स्वामी हो. (९)

O Indra! You should drink the somras which gayatri, who takes the form of a hawk bird, by the feet, which was not touched by the enemies by despising the protectors of space, because you are its master. (9)
