गौर्ध॑यति म॒रुतां॑ श्रव॒स्युर्मा॒ता म॒घोना॑म् । यु॒क्ता वह्नी॒ रथा॑नाम् ॥ (१)

धनवान्‌ मरुतों की माता, अन्न की अभिलाषा करने वाली, मरुतों को संयुक्त करने वाली एवं सर्वत्र पूजनीय पृश्चि मरुतों को सोमरस पिलाती हैं. (१)
