पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कमिन्द्र॑ श्ये॒नाभृ॑तं सु॒तम् । त्वं हि शश्व॑तीनां॒ पती॒ राजा॑ वि॒शामसि॑ ॥ (३)

हे इंद्र! वाजरूप-धारिणी गायत्री द्वारा लाए गए एवं हम लोगों द्वारा निचोड़े गए सोमरस को नशे के लिए सुखपूर्वक पिओ. तुम सभी मरुद्गणों के पालनकर्ता और अपने तेज से दीप्तिशाली हो. (३)
