प्र यो वां॑ मित्रावरुणाजि॒रो दू॒तो अद्र॑वत् । अयः॑शीर्षा॒ मदे॑रघुः ॥ (३)

हे मित्र व वरुण! जो गतिशील यजमान तुम्हारे सामने जाता है, वह देवों का दूत होता है, उसका सिर सोने से सुशोभित होता है एवं नशीला सोम प्राप्त करता है. (३)
