मनुष्य लकड़ियों की सहायता से अग्नि को प्रज्वलित करता हुआ मन की श्रद्धा के साथ यज्ञकर्म करता है. वह ऋत्विजों द्वारा अग्नि को बढ़ाता है. (२२)

Man performs yajnakarma with the reverence of the mind, igniting the agni with the help of wood. He increases the agni by the ritwijas. (22)
