रक्षा की अभिलाषा करते हुए बुद्धिमान्‌ ऋत्विज्‌ उंगलियों की सहायता से मसलने योग्य एवं क्रांतकर्म वाले सोम को मसलते हैं. अभिलाषापूरक एवं शब्द करते हुए सोम धारा के रूप में गिरते हैं. (२०)
