आ यो गोभिः॑ सृ॒ज्यत॒ ओष॑धी॒ष्वा दे॒वानां॑ सु॒म्न इ॒षय॒न्नुपा॑वसुः । आ वि॒द्युता॑ पवते॒ धार॑या सु॒त इन्द्रं॒ सोमो॑ मा॒दय॒न्दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् ॥ (३)

जो देवों के सुख के निमित्त चंद्रकिरणों द्वारा ओषधियों में स्थापित किए जाते हैं, वे देवों के समीप जाने के इच्छुक, शत्रुओं से धन प्राप्त करने वाले सोम सभी देवों के साथ इंद्र को प्रसन्न करते हैं एवं दीप्तियुक्त धारा के साथ निचुड़ते हैं. (३)
