उपह्वरे गिरीणाँ सङ्गमे च नदीनाम् । धिया विप्रो अजायत ॥ (९)

पर्वतों पर और नदियों के संगम पर बुद्धि से की हुई प्रार्थना को सुनने के लिए बुद्धिमान इंद्र प्रकट होते हैं. (९)

Wise Indra appears to listen to the prayers made by the intellect on the mountains and at the confluence of the rivers. (9)
