अन्व॒ग्निरु॒षसा॒मग्र॑मख्य॒दन्वहा॑नि प्रथ॒मो जा॒तवे॑दाः। अनु॒ सूर्य॑स्य पुरु॒त्रा च॑ र॒श्मीननु॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वीऽआत॑तन्थ ॥ (१७)

अग्नि पहले से ही मौजूद हैं. वे उघाकाल से पूर्व ही दिन को प्रकाशित कर देते हैं. वे सूर्य की बहुत सी किरणों को प्रकाशित करते हैं. अग्नि लोक की सृष्टि करने बाले हैं. हम अग्नि को स्वर्गलोक च पृथ्वीलोक में घूमता हुआ देखते हैं. (१७)

Fire already exists. They publish the day before dawn. They illuminate many rays of the sun. They are the creators of the agni world. We see agni moving in heaven and earth. (17)
