द्र॒प्सश्च॑स्कन्द पृथि॒वीमनु॒ द्यामि॒मं च॒ योनि॒मनु॒ यश्च॒ पूर्वः॑। स॒मा॒नं योनि॒मनु॑ सं॒चर॑न्तं द्र॒प्सं जु॑हो॒म्यनु॑ स॒प्त होत्राः॑ ॥ (५)

प्रारंभ से ही द्रप्स रस (एक दिव्य रस) देवता को तृप्ति प्रदान करते हैं और पृथ्वी को बढ़ाते हैं. स्वर्गलोक की बढ़ोतरी करते हैं. मूल स्थान को सींचते हैं. द्रप्स समान मूल स्थान में संचरण करते हैं. सात होता द्रप्स को आहुति प्रदान करते हैं. (५)
