ऋ॒तव॑ स्थऽऋता॒वृध॑ऽऋतु॒ष्ठा स्थ॑ऽऋता॒वृधः॑। घृ॒त॒श्च्युतो॑ मधु॒श्च्युतो॑ वि॒राजो॒ नाम॑ काम॒दुघा॒ऽअक्षी॑यमाणाः ॥ (३)

इष्टकाएं सत्य को स्थिर रखती हैं, सत्य की बढ़ोतरी करती हैं, इष्टका सत्य में स्थित रहती हैं. इष्टकाएं सत्य में बढ़ोतरी करती हैं. ये घी व मधु चुआएं. ये शोभित और कामनापूरक हों. कभी क्षीण न हों. (३)
