अग्ने॒ वेर्हो॒त्रं वेर्दू॒त्यमव॑तां॒ त्वां द्यावा॑पृथि॒वीऽअव॒ त्वं द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी स्वि॑ष्ट॒कृद्दे॒वेभ्य॒ऽइन्द्र॒ऽआज्ज्ये॑न ह॒विषा॑ भू॒त्स्वाहा॒ सं ज्योति॑षा॒ ज्योतिः॑ ॥ (९)

हे अग्नि! आप यज्ञ की व्यवस्था और विधान को अच्छी तरह जानते हैं. आप देवताओं के दूत हैं. आप पृथ्वीलोक से स्वर्गलोक तक आहुति पहुंचाने की कृपा करते हैं. आप पृथ्वीलोक व स्वर्गलोक की रक्षा करने की कृपा कीजिए. इंद्र अन्य देवताओं सहित घी की हवि से तृप्त व ज्योति से ज्योति में एकाकार होने की कृपा करें. (९)

O agni! You know the system and legislation of yajna very well. You are the messenger of the gods. You are pleased to make sacrifices from earth to heaven. Please protect the earth and heaven. Please indra along with other gods to be united in the light with the light satisfied with the ghee. (9)
