पुरु॑षऽए॒वेदꣳ सर्वं॒ यद्भू॒तं यच्च॑ भाव्यम्।उ॒तामृ॑त॒त्वस्येशा॑नो॒ यदन्ने॑नाति॒रोह॑ति ॥ (२)

जो हो चुका है और जो होने वाला है वह परम पुरुष ही है. वह अमरता का स्वामी है. जो अन्न से बढ़ोतरी पाते हैं, उन के भी वही स्वामी हैं. (२)

What has happened and what is going to happen is the supreme man. He is the master of immortality. He is also the master of those who grow from food. (2)
