विश्वा॑सां भुवां पते॒ विश्व॑स्य मनसस्पते॒ विश्व॑स्य वचसस्पते॒ सर्व॑स्य वचसस्पते।दे॒व॒श्रुत्त्वं दे॑व घर्म दे॒वो दे॒वान् पा॒ह्यत्र॒ प्रावी॒रनु॑ वां दे॒ववी॑तये।मधु॒ माध्वी॑भ्यां॒ मधु॒ माधू॑चीभ्याम् ॥ (१८)

परमात्मा सभी भुवनों के पति हैं. विशव के मन के स्वामी हैं. वे विशव की बाणियों के स्वामी हैं. वे सभी की वाणियों के पालक हैं और देवताओं में विश्रुत (प्रसिद्ध) हैं. देवों के देव हैं. धर्म मार्ग पर चलने वालों के रक्षक हैं. देवत्व चाहने बालों को संरक्षण प्रदान करते हैं. (१८)
