यो वः॑ शि॒वत॑मो॒ रस॒स्तस्य॑ भाजयते॒ह नः॑ । उ॑श॒तीरि॑व मा॒तरः॑ ॥ (२)

जिस प्रकार माताएं अपनी इच्छा से दूध पिला कर बालकों को पुष्ट करती हैं, उसी प्रकार हे जल! आप अपने अत्यधिक कल्याणकारी रस का हमें अधिकारी बनाएं. (२)
