न॒हि दे॒वो न मर्त्यो॑ म॒हस्तव॒ क्रतुं॑ प॒रः । म॒रुद्भि॑रग्न॒ आ ग॑हि ॥ (२)

हे महान्‌ अग्नि देव! तुम्हारा यज्ञ और उसे करने वाले मनुष्य सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं. उनसे बढ़कर कोई नहीं है. तुम मरुद्गणों के साथ आओ. (२)
