अध॒ त्यं द्र॒प्सं वि॒भ्वं॑ विचक्ष॒णं विराभ॑रदिषि॒तः श्ये॒नो अ॑ध्व॒रे । यदी॒ विशो॑ वृ॒णते॑ द॒स्ममार्या॑ अ॒ग्निं होता॑र॒मध॒ धीर॑जायत ॥ (४)

बाज पक्षी अग्ने द्वारा प्रेरित होकर यज्ञ में महान्‌, सूक्ष्मदर्शी तथा न कम न अधिक सोम को ले आया. जब आर्य यजमान उस दर्शनीय व देवों के आहवान करने योग्य अग्नि की प्रार्थना करते हैं, तब होता यज्ञक्रिया आरंभ करते हैं. (४)

Inspired by the Baj bird Agne, he brought the great, the microscope and not less the greater Soma to the yajna. When the Aryan hosts pray for that visible and agni that is worthy of the calling of the gods, they begin the yajna kriya. (4)
