यस्ते॑ अग्ने सुम॒तिं मर्तो॒ अक्ष॒त्सह॑सः सूनो॒ अति॒ स प्र श‍ृ॑ण्वे । इषं॒ दधा॑नो॒ वह॑मानो॒ अश्वै॒रा स द्यु॒माँ अम॑वान्भूषति॒ द्यून् ॥ (७)

हे बलपुत्र अग्नि! जो मनुष्य तुम्हारी दयादृष्टि चाहता है, वह प्रसिद्ध, अन्नदाता, घोड़ों पर बैठकर चलने वाला, दीप्तिशाली, बली एवं प्रतिदिन सुशोभित होता हुआ तुम्हारी सेवा करता है. (७)
