धनु॒र्हस्ता॑दा॒ददा॑नो मृ॒तस्या॒स्मे क्ष॒त्राय॒ वर्च॑से॒ बला॑य । अत्रै॒व त्वमि॒ह व॒यं सु॒वीरा॒ विश्वाः॒ स्पृधो॑ अ॒भिमा॑तीर्जयेम ॥ (९)

मैं प्रजारक्षण, तेज और बलप्राप्ति के लिए मरे हुए क्षत्रिय के हाथ से धनुष लेकर कह रहा हूं. हे मृत व्यक्ति! तुम यहीं रहो. हम शोभन संतान वाले होकर इस लोक में सब शत्रुओं को जीतें. (९)
