द्युभि॑र्हि॒तं मि॒त्रमि॑व प्र॒योगं॑ प्र॒त्नमृ॒त्विज॑मध्व॒रस्य॑ जा॒रम् । बा॒हुभ्या॑म॒ग्निमा॒यवो॑ऽजनन्त वि॒क्षु होता॑रं॒ न्य॑सादयन्त ॥ (५)

दीप्तियों से युक्त, मित्र के समान युक्त करने योग्य, पुराने ऋत्विज्‌ एवं यज्ञ को समाप्त करने वाले अग्नि को यजमानों ने भुजाओं द्वारा उत्पन्न किया तथा देवों को बुलाने का काम सौंपा. (५)
