आ यो मू॒र्धानं॑ पि॒त्रोरर॑ब्ध॒ न्य॑ध्व॒रे द॑धिरे॒ सूरो॒ अर्णः॑ । अस्य॒ पत्म॒न्नरु॑षी॒रश्व॑बुध्ना ऋ॒तस्य॒ योनौ॑ त॒न्वो॑ जुषन्त ॥ (३)

अग्नि अपने माता-पिता द्यावा-पृथिवी के सिर पर अपने तेज से रमण करते हैं. यज्ञकर्ता शोभनशक्ति वाले अग्नि के तेज को यज्ञ में धारण करते हैं. अग्नि के पतन के समय सुशोभित स्तोता यज्ञ के स्थान में व्याप्त अग्नि के शरीर की सेवा करते हैं. (३)

Agni ramanas with his swiftness on the head of his parents, Dyava-Prithvivi. The yajnakars wear the brightness of the agni with shobhan shakti in the yajna. At the time of the fall of agni, the adorned hymns serve the body of the agni prevailing in the place of the yajna. (3)
