स प्र॑वो॒ळ्हॄन्प॑रि॒गत्या॑ द॒भीते॒र्विश्व॑मधा॒गायु॑धमि॒द्धे अ॒ग्नौ । सं गोभि॒रश्वै॑रसृज॒द्रथे॑भिः॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार ॥ (४)

दभीति को उसके नगर से बाहर ले जाने वाले असुरों को इंद्र ने मार्ग में रोका एवं उनके प्रकाशमान आयुधों को आग में जला दिया. इसके पश्चात्‌ इंद्र ने उन्हें बहुत सी गाएं, घोड़े तथा रथ प्रदान किए. इंद्र ने यह सब सोमरस के नशे में किया. (४)

Indra stopped the asuras who had taken Dabhiti out of his city on the way and burned their shining weapons in the agni. After this Indra gave them many cows, horses and chariots. Indra did all this in the drunkenness of the Somras. (4)
