अ॒पो वृ॒त्रं व॑व्रि॒वांसं॒ परा॑ह॒न्प्राव॑त्ते॒ वज्रं॑ पृथि॒वी सचे॑ताः । प्रार्णां॑सि समु॒द्रिया॑ण्यैनोः॒ पति॒र्भव॒ञ्छव॑सा शूर धृष्णो ॥ (७)

हे इंद्र! अधिक मात्रा में लोकों का पालन करने वाले तुम्हारे वज्र ने जल को रोकने वाले मेघ को प्रेरणा दी थी एवं चेतना वाली धरती तुमसे मिली थी. हे शूर एवं पराभवकारी इंद्र! तुम बल के कारण लोकपालक बनकर सागर एवं आकाश के जल को प्रेरणा दो. (७)
