आ यस्मि॒न्त्वे स्वपा॑के यजत्र॒ यक्ष॑द्राजन्स॒र्वता॑तेव॒ नु द्यौः । त्रि॒ष॒धस्थ॑स्तत॒रुषो॒ न जंहो॑ ह॒व्या म॒घानि॒ मानु॑षा॒ यज॑ध्यै ॥ (२)

हे यज्ञ के योग्य एवं राजमान अग्नि! सभी स्तोता तुझ बुद्धिमान्‌ अग्नि में शीघ्र यज्ञ करते हैं. तुम तीनों लोकों में स्थित होने के कारण मनुष्यों के श्रेष्ठ हव्य को देवों के पास सूर्य की तीव्र गति से ले जाओ. (२)
