और्वभृगुवच्छुचिमप्नवानवदा हुवे । अग्निँ समुद्रवाससम् ॥ (८)

हे अग्नि! आप समुद्र में रहने वाले हैं. भृगु और अप्रवान जैसे ऋषियों ने जिस तरह सच्चे मन से आप की प्रार्थना की, उसी तरह हम भी सच्चे मन से आप की प्रार्थना करते हैं. (८)

O agni! You are going to live in the sea. Just as sages like Bhrigu and Apravan prayed to you with a true heart, we also pray to you with a true heart. (8)
